I spend most of today on the tips of my toes. And consequently, the arch of my foot kind of stings.

Bought new jazz sneakers. It felt good to stand at full height(in some respect) again.

Saw a production of Equus at the berkshire theater fest. It is an incredible play. Incredible. And besides the full-frontal nudity... Some of the technical elements bothered me, especially the last light cue, but since it was my first time seeing the show, a kind of suspended disbelief isn't allowing me to explain the problems any further. If you go to see it and hate the first act(though it's really not that bad...), don't leave at intermission. The second act is generally much better, technically and in terms of apparent rehearsal. For two week stock, it deserves a standing ovation. Let me know if you know the play/ saw it at BTF. I would love to chat about it.

Camp in (it's 1:15) 3 days. I am incredibly nervous.
1. Auditions. I am by no means prepared, but there's really nothing that I can do now, now is there? I will just gather together all of the confidence that I can muster, and walk tall.(like a duck.)
2. I will know virtually no one from the past 5 years for the first three weeks. I have always been a third session girl, and I suppose in some respects I still am, but this years fourth session should prove to be, in every aspect, inherently better than third.
P.S. This whole business of changing from 3 to 4 sessions is SO ANNOYING.
3. Dance. I sort of have 2 bum feet going in this year... An over extended arch and contusions and such. I just want to not be a beginner... I haven't danced there since my first year(quite some time ago indeed) and it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience(hence the sort of divorce). What was it? Ah, only time will tell.
